Rachael has a particular interest in private law children proceedings and cases concerning domestic violence. Her practice includes contact, residence, parental responsibility, specific issue, prohibited steps and removal from the jurisdiction.
Rachael has represented parents and the guardian in care proceedings.
Rachael has considerable experience of Family Law Act 1996 cases. She represents Applicants and Respondents in respect of non-molesation orders, occupation orders and committal proceedings. Rachael provides natural sensitivity, empathy and a reassuring approach when advising and representing vulnerable clients.
Family Finance and Property
Rachael's work covers ancillary relief on the breakdown of a marriage or a civil partnership, applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustee Act 1996 and cases dealing with financial provision for children of unmarried parents under Schedule One of the Children Act 1989. Further, Inheritance Act and contentious probate claims.
